FAQ
Everything you need to know about K3 Capital and how it works.
What is K3 Capital?
K3 Capital is a DeFi platform designed to help users earn yield, borrow assets, and manage their crypto portfolio across multiple blockchain networks. By integrating with leading DeFi protocols such as Euler, Morpho, IPOR, Upshift, and Liquity, K3 Capital provides a unified interface to access best-in-class yield opportunities without the complexity of navigating multiple platforms. Currently, K3 Capital supports Ethereum mainnet and the Plasma network.
How do I start earning yield on K3 Capital?
To start earning on K3 Capital, follow these steps: First, connect your wallet by clicking the "Connect" button in the top-right corner. The platform supports MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, and other popular Ethereum-compatible wallets. Next, navigate to the Earn section, browse available vaults, and select one that matches your asset and risk preference. Finally, enter the amount you wish to supply and confirm the transaction. Your supplied assets will begin earning yield immediately according to the vault's current APY.
Which assets does K3 Capital support?
K3 Capital currently supports a range of assets across its vaults, including rsETH (Kelp Gain), NUSD (K3 Neutrl NUSD Vault), BOLD (sBold by K3 Capital), USDT (K3 Leveraged syrupUSDT Strategy), EUROP (K3 EUROP Vault), and USDT0 (K3 Capital USDT0 Vault on Plasma). The list of supported assets grows as new vault integrations are added. Check the Earn page for the most up-to-date list of available vaults and their current APYs.
What DeFi protocols does K3 Capital integrate with?
K3 Capital integrates with several leading DeFi protocols to provide diverse yield opportunities. These include Euler — a modular lending protocol known for its flexible risk management; IPOR — an interest rate derivative protocol offering leveraged yield strategies; Upshift — a yield optimization platform for various assets; and Liquity — a decentralized borrowing protocol specializing in BOLD stablecoin vaults. Each protocol is independently audited and operates with its own risk parameters.
Which blockchain networks does K3 Capital support?
K3 Capital currently supports Ethereum mainnet and the Plasma network. Ethereum hosts the majority of vaults including Kelp Gain, NUSD, BOLD, USDT, and EUROP vaults. The Plasma network hosts the K3 Capital USDT0 Vault powered by Euler. K3 Capital is built with a multi-chain architecture and plans to expand to additional networks in future updates.
How does borrowing work on K3 Capital?
The Borrow section of K3 Capital allows users to use their crypto holdings as collateral to borrow other assets. To borrow, connect your wallet, navigate to the Borrow tab, select the asset you want to borrow and the collateral you wish to use, and specify the amount. Always maintain a healthy collateral ratio to avoid liquidation. Interest rates on borrowing are determined by the underlying protocol and adjust dynamically based on market supply and demand.
How can I track my portfolio on K3 Capital?
After connecting your wallet to K3 Capital, the Portfolio section provides a comprehensive overview of all your positions across supported vaults and networks. You can monitor your supplied assets, accrued yield, active borrows, collateral ratios, and total portfolio value in one unified dashboard. The portfolio view updates in real time as your positions change.
What are the fees on K3 Capital?
K3 Capital does not charge platform-level fees for supplying assets to vaults. However, each underlying protocol (Euler, IPOR, Upshift, Liquity) may apply its own fee structure, which is reflected in the displayed net APY. Additionally, all on-chain interactions require standard Ethereum gas fees. For Plasma network transactions, gas fees are significantly lower. Always review the vault details before supplying to understand the complete fee structure.
Is K3 Capital safe to use?
K3 Capital integrates exclusively with established, audited DeFi protocols. All underlying protocols — Euler, IPOR, Upshift, and Liquity — have undergone multiple independent security audits. However, as with all DeFi platforms, users should be aware that smart contract risks, market risks, and liquidation risks exist. K3 Capital recommends users read all relevant documentation, understand the risks of each vault, and never supply more than they can afford to lose. The platform is non-custodial, meaning your assets remain under your control at all times.
